Space King

Space King is a lighthearted TTRPG where wealth is power, just like the real world! Cooperate and compete with your party to amass as much money as possible and rise in the space hierarchy. As players amass wealth (and thus status), the scope of the game exponentially increases until the players come face to face in combat with the ruler of the known galaxy (and the richest person): the Space King. Combat is limb-chopping based.

Space King was made for a game jam where participants exchanged GM screens made for a game that did not exist yet. Based on the screen we got, we cobbled together Space King. This system has never been playtested, and maybe it’s real bad. We don’t know! There are some obtuse mechanics in here that are constraints of the GM screen we got. That said, we think it should make for a fun one-off space monarcho-capitalist adventure!
